Claudia and Pascal's Wedding Story
When I think of Claudia and Pascal, I am reminded of their contagious smiles, the happiness of their looks, and the positivity and optimism that sets them apart.
Because they live in Paris, we only met in person on the Wedding Day, but it was as if we had known each other forever, thanks to the technology that allowed us to meet virtually and organize every important moment of the event together.
While the preparations took place at a hotel not far from the venue, both the religious ceremony and reception were held at Casale di Polline, an Italian Wedding Venue overlooking Bracciano Lake a few kilometers from Rome.
Claudia and Pascal's Wedding was indeed very special and music themed. First of all, the Catholic ceremony was held outside the small chapel attached to the estate, a very rare event here in Italy. In addition, the celebrant was a man very close to the bride and groom and he celebrated a truly profound, touching and inspiring Mass, a ceremony that was really very different from the sometimes boring and detached ones we happened to witness.
A great contribution to the ceremony was also made by the choir, made up of friends and colleagues of the bride and groom, who obviously sang and participated with passion! So here is the first clue that this was a music themed wedding!
Since Claudia is a stage and musical actress (and Pascal accompanies her in several projects), of course there was no shortage of music during the party as well! Accompanied by Claudia's colleagues, we witnessed a very funny flash mob in both Italian and French languages, which finally moved our bride.
Then we could not miss a mini-concert by the musical group of which both Claudia and Pascal are members, the Woodlight! By the way, listen to them on Spotify, they are really great!
The last memory of that amazing Music Themed Wedding that I am pleased to share is that Claudia was pregnant with baby Luce (meaning "Light" in italian language). Knowing this additional detail, some photographs from the service will have a different meaning in your eyes.
