American Wedding in Italy
A small indoor destination wedding
I remember that, at the beginning of the 2000s, it was quite shocking to tell that you found online the love of your life. Fortunately is no longer the case and this kind of dating has become not only "normal" for everyone, but also one of the most used way to meet people.
Redian and Christine are one of these couples, who met through an online app. From that first date began a strong relationship lasted for more than 4 years and now... a destination wedding in Italy!
The Bride with the Bridesmaids
Redian has Albanian origin and lived in the United States for many years, Christine was born in El Paso, Texas but today both live in Washington DC.
They are energetic and cheerful guys, with a great passion for travel, food, sport, art and Italy above all! That's why they decided to celebrate their small indoor wedding here in Rome.
They chose for their yes an amazing wedding venue surrounded by woods: Tenuta La Torretta, where you can celebrate your outdoor civil wedding in Rome.

Unfortunately, it was a wedding in the rain for half the day but I must confess, that I really appreciated their spirit, an optimism that people should always have in such situations: despite the rain they remained cheerful and smiling all the time for their indoor destination wedding. After all, it is always an important day in which not only the wedding and the years to come should be celebrated, but also the years spent together that have brought the couple up to that day!
It must be said that in some ways, this American Wedding in Italy with rain has that nostalgic and fascinating atmosphere that I really love as a wedding videographers.
Of course, at the beginning there was a slight displeasure that Christine and Redian had to celebrate an indoor wedding ceremony, while an outdoor wedding had been organized. However, the intimate and peaceful environment in front of the fireplace, while the sound of rain came from outside, contributed to making the whole ceremony intimately romantic and moving.
Furthermore, there was a deep involvement, especially thanks to two moving speeches that bride and grooms dedicated to each other.
Once the rain was over, we filmed in the wood of the Tenuta La Torretta and in the interiors, skilfully exploiting the almost dreamlike light that came from outside.

After that we had a tasty dinner by Apollinare Catering & Banqueting and many dances. Particularly fun were the albanian group traditional dancing.
So we can say that was a small indoor wedding and an American Wedding in Italy, in the rain but also with a lots of smiles, emotions and fun!
