IstantiSenzaTempo: who I am NOT

1. I am NOT a stranger with the camera

I are not the one you will see for the first time on your Wedding Day and who will know nothing about you.

I am not the one who will come only to do my job, but I will be a person you can count on for everything.

2. I am NOT the one who copy-paste

I am not the one who have a format to apply to all couples indiscriminately.

I am not the one who have a preset filter to use on all images.

3. I am NOT the one who work on 50 weddings per year

I am not the one who want to make weddings a factory.

I am not the one who don't want to take the time to really make each job unique.

IstantiSenzaTempo: who I am

I am Francesco, photographer and founder of IstantiSenzaTempo Studio

I don’t remember the exact moment when my passion for photography began. It’s one of those things that feels like it’s been inside you since birth. I only remember my dad's cameras, those strange ones where you looked down into the viewfinder, his stories of when, as a young man, he developed film at home, the snapshots taken at celebrations, and the cataloging of countless slides.

But the moment when that passion became overwhelming, I do remember. I was at an exhibition of Steve McCurry, the photographer who took the most famous photo for National Geographic, the Afghan woman with the deep, changing eyes. The emotion I felt seeing those images was incredibly strong, and hearing his words on a video screen changed my life.

Despite having a career in a completely different field, I chose, along with my life partner and wife, Mary, to follow my passion. And “work” turned from a duty into something I can’t live without.

Since Mary is a wedding designer, first the founder of La Sposa degli Alberi and then of SBWE (together with her friend Silvia), it was only natural to turn this passion into a job within the same field. The wedding is an important event in the life of anyone fortunate enough to build and experience it fully. It’s an intimate moment, yet at the same time, it is shared with loved ones in a celebration that every couple organizes with meticulous care. It’s an instant to freeze in time and remember through the intense emotions and the details that seem to slip through your fingers as time passes too quickly.

Thus, I was fortunate to meet wonderful people, professionals in the industry, who believed in me and allowed me to work with them, gaining valuable experience. People I will never stop thanking. Perhaps they noticed that light in my eyes that would shine every time we spoke about photography.

I’ve traveled a lot (but never too much), always with a camera by my side. It was therefore natural to transfer my documentary-style approach to weddings: with utmost discretion, I try to capture all those moments that, like a mosaic, come together to represent that day, that event, the two people united in marriage.

From the very beginning, I strongly believed that love stories are the most meaningful to tell. And that they are especially engaging, thanks to the opportunity to truly get to know the people I’m photographing.

That’s why I’ve shaped my working method, which I’ve called the Love Story Method, as an experience to share with “my” couples. Every couple has a story that deserves to be told in a unique way. But I can’t tell it alone: you’ll share your story, your passions, your tastes with me, allowing me to create photos and videos that truly represent you.

On the day of your event, you’ll have a friend with a camera by your side, not a stranger.
